Allana represented Australia at the Rugby Sevens in 2013, then consecutive knee injuries forced Allana to stay off the field for many years prior to making her return to rugby league. Allana played with distinction for New South Wales during her first women's Rugby League match against Queensland, which she took part in during 2015. Allana has added radio to her repertoire, and she makes frequent appearances in 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana, who is not only a sportswoman as well as a teacher who has a an education degree is a professional with a long history in other areas.
